Nonplussed or nonchalant?

The use of "nonplussed" to mean "nonchalant" is one of the most common errors in English. The compact OED online has noted the rise in the incorrect usage in North America. Unfortunately, I am not nonchalant about the misuse, thus this post.

Ahem. Moving on....

Nathan Sawaya is a brick artist. His job is to make art with Lego bricks. How cool is that?

Speaking of cool, transatlantic21 crossed the Atlantic in the "sun21" solar-powered catamaran. From the map, it looks like they got a big boost from the Coriolis effect.

Finally, if you're a sports fan looking for something to do, here are Jim Caple's 101 things all sports fans must experience before they die. Once you're still alive after that, you might look into 1000 other things to do before you die. It seems like a good concept, but it looks like they've missed some milestones targeted on their website.

Get crackin', people!
