This post is Sofa King great!

Rodrigo y Gabriela
Mexican acoustic guitar rock gods, recommended by my man Tracy on his fine interweb production, I'm Heavy Duty dot com. Who knew that two acoustic guitars could be Sofa King metal?

PostSecret
I read about this in 4/15/07 issue of American Way, the in-flight magazine for American Airlines. People send postcards to the curator of the site, with an artistically presented confession of some sort. Sofa King better than "reality" teevee.

Statues!
Mark Hurst pointed out this interesting site dedicated to public sculpture. My favorite public sculpture *ever* is Albert Einstein at the National Academy of Sciences Building in DC, but there are a number of pieces on this site that give ol' Al a run for his money. I particularly like the Fremont Troll -- Sofa King creative.

Tokyo Police Club
Featured by my TV pal Dave Letterman last night, I'm still not sure what I think of them. Their sound has similarities to the Shins and Modest Mouse, but with a more, um, urgent(?) backbone (not sure if I prefer my post-post modern art rock slow or fast). Anyway, I've been listening to the three songs they offer on their site: the first two ("Nature of the Experiment" and "Shoulders & Arms") are pretty tight, while the third sprawls a bit. The more I think about it, the more I think they might be overthinking the songs a bit. Speaking of which, I am Sofa King overthinking this blurb.

Be Sofa King careful out there....
