What's on my mind (if the browser windows open on my desktop are any indication)

Building Green
An upcoming 13-episode series on PBS, due out this summer. It's like "This Old House" for the green set. Should be cool.

Max
He is one funny little man.

Tracy
He is one talented dude.

Ohmega Salvage
Starting to thing about the havoc I'm going to wreak on our garage and backyard.

How Do Solar Cells Work?
Now that's educational!

Composting
We've never done it before, but it seems like we should be able to now that we have a bigger yard. I just want to make sure that it composts well and doesn't just turn into a stinky garbage heap.

Ralph Bakshi
I've long been a fan of Bakshi, and still have a movie poster from "Wizards" somewhere.

Free stuff
More backyard havoc!

How to Design for Television
Very interesting take on the production and delivery of commercial messages.

Tarkett Fiber Floor
We just had some of this installed in the play room. Yes, vinyl is evil, but it lasts forever, so it's kind of green if you don't throw it out. (Oh, yes, I saved all the scraps... the installer laughed at me, but who will be laughing when I build a vinyl palace in the backyard? Probably no one.)

The Mountain Winery
An excellent concert venue that we visited twice last year. This year we're doubling that, planning some good date nights (which we'll need given the new baby girl arriving in June).

Google News
It's a bit disconcerting how many recent headlines contain the words "Iran" and "nuclear" (sorry, nuke-u-lar).

The local weather
Palo Alto in the house!

Aquatic Gallery
A local fish shop. I'm itchin' to have an aquarium again.

Green roofs
Easily one of the more interesting elements of green building. Why not plant stuff on top of buildings?

Workshop stuff
Because a man needs a shop.

What an incredible Cinderella story....
