Mark my words

Hi there, fearless readers! So I haven't had the time to post lately, but I know that tens of dozens of you rely on me for weird links. So, rather than find my own cool links, I'll just give you some that Mark Hurst pointed out in his Good Experience newsletter over the past few weeks:

Cosmic Encounter -- I haven't had the chance to try this, but it looks pretty cool. Droidarena is another online game that I thought looked good, but never got around to trying. Ah, they make me long for the good ol' days of Stellar Crisis at the Lenox Group house.

Pumpkin rockets -- pretty funny stuff. If you like potato guns (yeah, I'm talkin' to you, Mike), then you'll like this.

Battlemech treehouse -- as a new dad, I think this may be raising the bar a bit too high.

Boohbah -- A UK kids' show... like Teletubbies meets Superbad.

'80s commercials -- wow, feeling kind of old right now....

Finally, Mark just launched a new site called This is Broken. It's a great collection of user-submitted bad user experiences... good stuff. SF bay area folks might also be interested to know that Mark will be speaking at next Tuesday's BayCHI meeting.
