Feeling oddly contemplative. Maybe it's the 9 hours spent in childbirth preparation classes over the past 24 hours.
[For the tens of dozens of readers who might not already know, the missus and me is havin' a critter!]
Random baby body parts push the skin of Kerah's belly, little rumbling thundershowers silently whispering: "Here I am...." There's life there, but it's still not quite real. It will be soon enough, though -- the eager waiting is almost over.
The little white LED on the spine of my PowerBook pulses, also announcing, "Here I am...." In my philosophical mood, I wonder -- is it alive, too?
