Marching into madness

March Madness has set in here at Go Nutty HQ. The brackets are hung by the chimney with care or something, and we've been doing plenty of 12 ounce curls in preparation for the main event. If you're still filling out your bracket, I'd recommend a review of the tournament sites hosted by ESPN and Sportsline. Not to be outdone by the major networks, McD has put together the very useful Brack-O-Matic ©.

Some folks are still griping about the seedings and some teams that got left out. Okay, I agree that Gonzaga got jobbed with that #6, and Ball State and Butler deserved to dance more than Charlotte and Boston College, but it's time to get past that. So, without further ado, here are my upset specials by bracket:

South
#10 Kent State over #7 Oklahoma State
(and #11 Pennsylvania over #6 California)

West
#12 Missouri over #5 Miami
(and #10 Hawaii over #7 Xavier)

East
#12 Valparaiso over #5 Kentucky
(and #10 Michigan State over #7 NC State)

Midwest
#10 Pepperdine over #7 Wake Forest
(and #12 Creighton over #5 Florida)

You heard it here first, folks.

Go UConn!
