I've heard of a Fool for Love, but a Fool against Love?

Friend of Go Nutty and grumpy young man Bob Bobala writes an anti-Valentine for The Motley Fool entitled, "The Cost of Love." It's pretty amusing, and includes a screed about the evil diamond industry. Spooky thing is that for all his ranting, he's really only scratching the surface: the creation of the diamond myth is a pretty messed up display of psychological manipulation, and diamonds are still causing serious trouble in Africa. Of course, I'm a total hypocrite here, 'cause I bought a diamond ring for my sweetie when I proposed to her. Speaking of my funny valentine, she has funny hair, too:

I am a very lucky man.

Happy commercialized ritual expression of affection day!
