Man, I got beef with the The Weather Channel's new hour-by-hour forecast. They used to have it set up such that when I hit on the hyperlink of a given day, I would get a little breakdown of the forecast in three-hour increments. Now, when you hit the link, it shows you only eight hours in one-hour increments. So, if you want to know what it's going to be like in the evening, you need to click three times instead of just once.
To express my displeasure with the new "feature," I clicked on "Tell us what you think" and typed my preference for the old style into one of the text boxes, ignoring the plethora of survey questions also presented. When I hit submit, they added insult to injury by requiring me to fill out every field of their crappy little survey! ARGH!
Maybe I'll write to Intellicast suggesting that they do the full-day detailed breakdown. I like their groovy animated maps better anyway. Aw, hell, meteorology is still such an inexact science that the chance of any breakdown being accurate is a pick 'em at best. Maybe I'll just carry an umbrella with me all the time.
Or maybe I'll just be all wet from time to time. It happens metaphorically, why not physically, too?
