Find your spot

I just stumbled on this site while doing a random Google search, and it's really cool. You answer a questionnaire about your preferences for things like climate, geography, cultural amenities, community groups, housing, and recreation, and then the site gives you a list of cities that it thinks would suit your tastes. They also provide links to resources like job search (from Flip Dog), rental and real estate listings, and excellent four-page city summaries.

Strangely, my answers didn't generate any results in California or Oregon, two states where I would definitely like to live. So what did I get? Well, it lists four pages of six cities, and my first six were Seattle WA, Hickory NC, Lynchburg VA, Tacoma WA, Asheville NC, and Norfolk VA. Hurm... I think I'll take Kerah's top six: Portland OR, Valencia CA, Ventura CA, Honolulu HI, Corvallis OR, and Little Rock AR (?!?). In any case, it's an interesting exercise if you're thinking of moving (or even if you're not). Go ahead, find your spot.
